Rajeev Chatrath
Rajeev Chatrath is the Founder and the CEO of The CFOO Centre. Prior to setting up The CFOO Centre, Rajeev was the CFOO of a multinational plastics manufacturer across Africa. He has worked for companies and groups whose turnovers have been from USD 3 million up-to USD 150 million including an East African subsidiary of a FTSE 250 company. He has been instrumental in developing the business, its profitability (from low levels of profitability to very high levels) and increased operational and supply chain efficiencies. He also specializes in financial planning, management and internal control and corporate governance. Rajeev graduated in 1995 with Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC) as a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA). Rajeev is also a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA – 2003) , a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA -2012) and holds an MBA from the Henley Business School (2007). Rajeev has completed The AOTS Program on Production Management (Monozukuri) in Tokyo – Japan 2018, The Organisation Development International 20 Keys Program in South Africa 2016 and other programs including Kaizen, Scaling Up, Lean Programs and Leadership Development Programs from the Manchester Business School.
Rina Chatrath
Rina Chatrath is the Co-Founder of The CFOO Centre. She has more than 19 years’ experience in various management, legal and human resources roles. Prior to joining the CFOO Centre, Rina was pursuing and is now a member in Arbitration through the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Rina holds a MBA from the Edinburgh Business School and an LLB (Hons) together with an LPC from the Nottingham Trent University. She has worked as an in-house legal consultant for various companies in Nairobi.
She has also held leadership positions in one of Kenya’s largest supplier of home and electrical appliances and one of Kenya’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Her competencies lie in legal practice, governance and compliance, human resource functions, supply chain, inventory management and intellectual property.
Alnoor Amlani
Alnoor Amlani is a Director at the CFOO Centre. He has over 25 years’ experience as a financial management professional and strategic thinker. Alnoor qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant while working in audit with Deloitte. Thereafter he moved to KMPG working as a senior financial management consultant, and later with Githongo & Associates as an Associate Director. His competences include audit, business valuations, business and market modelling and analysis, business planning, risk analysis, systems redesign, strategic evaluations and real estate. Alnoor writes a regular monthly column focusing on Africa for “Accounting and Business”; ACCA’s professional journal and is also published by other national and international publications.
